Some Wi-Fi networks and virtual private networks require security certificates to connect. Devices that don’t have the necessary security certificates are blocked from the network. You can add security certificates to your Android smartphone or tablet, which can use them when connecting to a Wi-Fi or VPN. Android devices support secure certificates in PKCS #12 format. Secure certificate files that conform to this standard often use the .p12 or .pfx file extension. For security reasons, the device automatically deletes the security certificate from your USB storage or SD card after adding it.
1.Connect your Android device to your computer using its included USB cable or remove the Android device’s SD card, and insert it into your computer’s SD card slot.
2.Copy the security certificates from your computer to the Android device or the SD card using Windows Explorer.

Disconnect your Android device from your computer or remove its SD card from your computer, and reinsert it into the device’s SD card slot.

Open the Settings app on your Android device by pressing “Home,” pressing “Menu” and tapping “Settings” on your screen.

7.Navigate to the security certificate on the USB storage or SD card, and tap its name.

10.Set a password for the credential storage on your Android device by typing it twice and tapping “OK.” Your Android device only prompts you to create a credential storage password if you haven’t already created one.

- Contact the organization that administers your network if you have security certificates in a different format and require PKCS #12 security certificates for your device.
